Windows 10: Slowwww start up ..!!

Hi all I don't know what happens to the last wds up date My HP lap top is now starting really slow Just blank screen .. then after 3 or 4 mins the sign-in appears ..?? I'm about to reset the wds .. my last resource please help Thanks

I would suggest you to try the following steps:

• 
  Click Start icon and click Settings
  
• 
  Choose Personalization, click on Start
  
• 
  Turn on “Use start full screen”

Windows 10 Start menu is empty

Hi. Steps 1 and 2 didn't do much but step 3 has restored what looks like the list of original Microsoft apps but no sign of any of the many apps I have installed. And there are no tiles in the start menu. Any suggestions please?
