Windows 10: sluggish mouse

Hi,

Im having an issue with my mouse feeling floaty and sluggish. Its not 1:1. ( Only in games). Might be because of the recent update? Its def not my mouse, because it happens on all of them. Also tried reinstalling drivers but wasnt succesfull.

Does anyone have the same issue and knows the solution for it?

Would appreciate it!

Sluggish Mouse


My mouse is not sluggish, but actually super sensitive. It is opening programs on one click and moving/deleting messages in Outlook is almost impossible. Using a Logiteck M305 mouse with the latest version of Windows 10. Not quite sure when things changed, but it was working fine with prior builds. Please help.

Another thing, some users have reported that the possible reason why their computers are sluggish is fast startup (enabled by default). We may try disabling the fast startup, then check if the issue will still occur. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Open Power Options.
  
• Click Choose what the power buttons do.
  
• Under Shutdown settings, uncheck Turn on fast startup (recommended).
  
• Click Save changes.
  

And we also suggest checking the Processes and Performance in Task Manager if you feel your computer is sluggish.

We would appreciate an update about how it went.

 

Mouse lag

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. I suggest you to install all pending Windows updates and check. Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

• Type Mouse and Touchpad Setting in Search and hit
  Enter.
• Change settings as per your requirement; click on Advance mouse options.
• Change settings under Buttons, Points, Pointer options, Wheel.
