Windows 10: Small Network Setup

I have a router and a switch. They are connected to each other.

I have 3 computers: C1, C2, C3.

C1 connects to router via wireless.

C2 and C3 connects to switch.

Some computers use fixed IP.


I can use Windows Explorer shared folder to connect between C2 and C3.


I cannot use Windows Explorer to connect:

between:

1 C1 and C2

2 C1 and C3


I would like all computers to use DHCP.


How to setup router, switch and all computers so that all computers can connect to each other via Windows Explorer?

I'll be adding a small page on doing this in windows vista soon, since XP is the same with a step or two less, i assume people will figure it out.

 

Windows 10 LAN Setup


I have a small business with a data server and 7 workstations. Till now I have avoided the upgrade as xp has worked so problem free but a recent decision to upgrade server meant I could not avoid it any longer.

We have purchased the new workstations and now looking at the network side of things but have hit a bit of a snag.

Looking online I see most of the windows 10 networking steps relate to windows 7 and the general suggestion from what I can see is to use homegroup. In xp we were using workgroup and things were very easily set up and maintained but it seems the win 10 is not so easy to set up or maybe I am just not up to speed.

Any suggestions on a small business win 10 network setup and links to walkthrough's would be highly appreciated.

Did our Epson printer get hacked?

Another question, is this on a home network or a work network? The steps @eidairaman1 listed are always a good first step. If this is on a work network you manage, I'd be much more concerned than the home one. It is possible someone is screwing with you, but malware could also be the culprit.
