Windows 10: Smart Card Driver Oberthur Id One Cosmo

I have a smart card which is model Oberthur Id One Cosmo V8.0 128k With Piv 2.3.5. on my windows 7 machine it works fine, and installs and uses the driver Oberthur Technologies - Other hardware - Oberthur Technologies Minidriver for PIV Smart Card . i was wondering if there is a new driver for the windows 10 for the Oberthur Id One Cosmo V8.0 128k With Piv 2.3.5.

Smart Card Reader driver problem


Hello!
So, I ended up here because I didn't know what else to do. I have a problem with my Smart Card Reader(ID-Card). Windows doesn't let me install drivers for it manually, neither did it install them automatically. It all happened after updating Windows to the Anniversary Update. I tried to reinstall drivers, "Repair My Computer" with Windows disk(which didn't work for some reason) and used USB 2.0 and 3.0 to test whether it's the port problem. Also, manual installation gave me an error: "This operation requires an interactive window station."
Can anyone here help me? I need to use smart card reader every day, to be honest.

We appreciate your interest in Windows 10. The description suggests the issue could have occurred due to drivers issues. I suggest you to update the drivers for Smart TV as well as graphics card and check if that helps. Here is the steps:

  Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.

  Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Look for the specified drivers, expand, right-click the device drivers listed, and then click
  Update.
  

I would also have you check with a different cable and check.

Connect a smart card

Thank you Yasir; I read the content in the link provided; the problem I have now is not to ask for smart card when log on but to connect a smart card when update applications. Do you have a suggestion for that?
