Windows 10: Smart Gesure driver install error

Discus and support Smart Gesure driver install error in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Hi, I have an Asus Rog GL752VW with Windows 10 Home x64.     Smart Gesure driver install error


    Hi,

    I have an Asus Rog GL752VW with Windows 10 Home x64. Whenever I try to install the smart gesture driver I get this error Imgur and the process of installation is reversed. I already tried the clean boot method but it still doesn;t work.

    Hi Henry,

    This can be a driver compatibility issue, as it occurred after updating the PC to Windows 10. Since uninstalling and reinstalling smart view did not resolve the issue, then what we can suggest is to check for Samsung's website for an updated driver for the
    smart view that is compatible to Windows 10 and install it. Then try using the smart view again and see if the same error will occur.

    Give us an update on how it goes.

    Asus Transformer T100 Keyboard Base Drivers for Windows 10?

    I did the uninstall of the smart gesture driver first, but when I tried to install the new one, I got an error that the installation could not find a setup.cab file.

    1. Does the installer have an .msi extension? Then you can turn on Windows Installer logging https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/223300

    2. Delete C:\WINDOWS\inf\setupapi.dev.log. (This is the Device Manager trace log file)

    Try the install again. Post the two logs.
