Windows 10: Smart Sound Technology OED cannot start

Good morning,yesterday I encountered an issue with my pc, as I could not either have any audio input or output devices on my PC. Specs of the pc are an HP 840 G6, Windows 24 H2, windows 11 pro. I finally solved the audio output issue by downloading a cab file and installing IntcAudioBus.sys. The point is that now I still have no way to input audio. In my device manager i can see that Smart Sound Technology OED cannot start code 10 and that this driver was not loaded because it failed its initialization call. I tried uninstalling it and nothing changed, i tried removing its driver and I had t

I am having the exact same problem listed above, and successfully uninstalled the driver, and after restarting it reappeared again with the yellow triangle. I installed the Assistant but it did not help in reinstalling or updating the "Intel(R) Smart
Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) OED" driver. What next?

Resolution

Open Device manager

In System devices > Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller

Right click and select Update driver

Select Browse my computer for driver software

Select let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

Select High Definition Audio controller and install.
