    Smartcard Drivers no longer automatically install from Windows Update


    I have a problem with the automatic downloading of smartcard drivers on Windows 10.For several months now my various versions of Windows 10 will not automatically download a smartcard driver MiniDriver from Windows Update. This is a problem that has been reported from various customers as well.The driver has been certified, signed and uploaded to Windows Update via our customer's Microsoft Partner Center dashboard back in 2017.Automatic download of the driver, the first time a smartcard is inserted into a reader, functioned perfectly on Windows 8.1 and 10 for several years up until sometim

    Stop windows automatic driver install

    I'm having a problem with installing a nvidia card. windows 7 automatically installs some wdm 1.1 drivers, then when i install the 195.39 drivers, it gives me less performance. like the cards lags in games when it should run fine.

    how can i stop windows from installing the drivers automatically ?

    i tried checking the "don't install drivers from windows update" in device manager. it still installs it.

    windows automatic updates

    i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?

    Windows 7 wont install drivers

    i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
    Step 1
    reinstall windows from scratch
    Step 2
    install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
    Step 3
    update windows
    Step 4
    install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
    Step 5
    Install GPU drivers
    Step 6
    go back to using your pc without issue.
