Windows 10: Smartphone hotspot stopped working properly with Win 11 Laptop

I've connected my Win 11 laptop to my smartphone Android hotspot without any issues until recently. Whenever I try now, it usually fails to connect with the error message "Unable to connect to this network" popping up. In the rare event it manages to connect, the speed is atrociously slow so web pages fail to load properly and videos don't work at all.Where it gets weird is:1 My Win 10 desktop connects without any issue to the same smartphone hotspot.2 My Win 11 laptop connects without any issue to the wireless home network.So I know that the neither the smartphone nor the laptop are the i

Wifi hotspot stopped working AGAIN

Was working fine, devices could connect no problem. Then it stopped....devices could see the hotspot but could not connect. From a suggestion, I completely removed AVS security and hotspot started working fine. Now out of the blue stopped working again (I did not reinstall AVS )

Could it be setting in defender or ????????

 

Windows 10 Mobile hotspot not working because of firewall

Sir... I'm from the Philippines...regarding in what situation is all about... I having problem too, its about my Avast Firewall, it's act to block my Windows 10 Hotspot, i figure it out that my problem of having disconnection when i active my win 10 hotspot while avast is on, when i disable it, my hotspot works......can you tell me step by step how to configure to work properly my win 10 hotspot while the avast firewall is on???....by the way I'm just disable only firewall of avast but the whole operation of my anti-virus is working, just the Firewall...and its work while i disable Avast Firewall....PLS help me about it!

 

Hotspot issues in Windows 11

Hi,

This is my first post to this community so please forgive me if I did not follow anything. I have windows 11 Dell laptop. The Hotspot in my laptop is behaving weired. I am using a ethernet connection for internet. It is working fine. But when I am sharing this internet via Hotspot of my laptop, and connect to my laptop wifi from my smartphone then the internet is not working in my laptop, but working fine on the smartphone. When I turn of hotspot from laptop then only internet is back on my laptop. Please help me if you have any idea why this is happening.
