Windows 10: Smilie not wanted

When I post to the WordPerfect Universe Forum the characters produce a smilie that confuses the reader. I have turned off smilies but I suspect that this one is persistant..
Is it and can it be disabled?
I am using W10.

to all who wants to use sms smilys fastly in N82 / N85 ...... THERE ARE SMS SMILYS !!!!



while typing a sms simply press the "1" several times in a row and Smiliys appear !

if smily is choosed you can vary it with pressing the " * " key several times and the smily will change face.

Wrong, as clearly stated in my post. The program only needs to be on your phone to send or receive smilies. The only people who need this program are those with S60 smartphones who want graphical smilies, not text based ones.

With any phone when you receive a message with smilies in it only contains text, not graphics. The phone receiving the message converts the text based smilies into graphical smilies.

So for example if you sent a message using ASMS to a friend with a nokia 6300 they would see the smilies.

If they sent you a message back with smilies in one of two things would happen:

1) If you don't have ASMS you will see basic text based smilies.

2) If you do have ASMS it will convert the message to include smilies.

Try the demo out and see what you think.
