  1. Snap with keyboard misalignment

When I snap to left or right with the keyboard (Win+Left/Right), there is a gap around the side and bottom of the window, and the title bar is hanging off the top of the screen.

It also seems to only affect one side, and restarting will sometimes change sides. It was happening on the right side, then I rebooted and now it's happening on the left side: https://i.ibb.co/qBYGknq/snap.gif

If I drag the window with the mouse to the snap area it doesn't happen.

Snap windows (issue with keyboard shortcut)

I have the Windows 10, version 1903 with the latest update installed (October 24, 2019—KB4522355 (OS Build 18362.449), at the time of writing).

I have had this issue related to the 'Snap windows' feature for a while:

Under Settings > System > Multitasking, I have enabled the 'Snap windows' feature with all the options checked.

I often use the 'Windows_Key + Arrow_Key' keyboard shortcut to snap the active window; however, most of the time, I have to press this shortcut twice to snap the window. By dragging the window, I have no issue.
This issue only happens when I use the keyboard shortcut.

The first time I press this shortcut, it does move the active window to the direction indicated by the
Arrow_Key, but a small upper portion of the title bar of the active window is cut by the display's upper boundary, and it does not show the other windows that I can snap next to it.

The second time that I press the shortcut, it then properly snaps the active window (no more cutting title bar) and shows the other windows that I can snap next to it.

I do want to add the fact that I use a multi-display setup.

Here are the screenshots that better describes my situation:

    • After pressing the keyboard shortcut for the first time:

    • After pressing the keyboard shortcut for the second time:

Please, any help would be appreciated.

Snap Assist to top and bottom in portrait mode

I work in Portrait on my desktop and have found an almost-but-not-quite solution building on Eeshwar's suggestion.

    1) Snap a window to one of the corners. For this purpose we'll say you have your notes app and Snap it to bottom-left or bottom-right.

    2) Size the snapped window horizontally to fill the screen

    3) Snap "top" window to either top corner - the window will match the size of your previously-snapped bottom window and fill the rest of the screen.

    This solution has drawbacks:

    1) Extra step - you must resize the initial window after snapping

    2) No official keyboard shortcuts

    Snap with keyboard misalignment

    Touch Keyboard "snaps"

    Hi,

Your concern about the touch keyboard can be due to its configuration on your device and/or broken system components. To better understand your concern, we'd like to know the following:

    • If you've already tried to undock the touch keyboard.
    • If you've made changes to the settings of the touch keyboard prior to your concern.
    • The version and build of Windows 10 that you're using on your device. To check this, you can perform the steps posted on this

      link
      .

To undock the touch keyboard, you can perform the following:

    • Click on the keyboard settings menu.
    • Select the undocked button.
