    I upgraded from 1909 to 2004 yesterday... , I tried to use snip and sketch and it captures blank grey screen (this is happening for the very first time). I reinstalled graphics drivers, same thing. Avast free and Malwarebytes are the only external anti-virus installed and it's been there for more than a year with no issues.

    The old snip tool works perfectly though. Please kindly help me with any ideas

    Snip & Sketch

    I LOVED the Microsoft Snipping Tool. I understand that Microsoft did away with it and replaced it with "Snip & Sketch." While the concept to use it is the same, when I capture what I want as a "NEW" snip, it then appears simply as a blank screen within the
    Snip & Sketch app. I believe that the app says it copies the snip to the Clipboard, so I attempted to open up a Word doc and a Notepad doc and "Paste" but still nothing appears.

    Please help!

    strange, is the saved file blank or is it not taking a snip?

    if the saved file is blank, try saving in a different format.

    if it is not taking a snip, try selecting a larger piece of the screen.

    To whom it may concern,

    I am currently on version 2004 OS Build 19041.153. My Snip & Sketch app seems to have a mind of it's own. Whenever I snip anything near the middle of my screen, the program lags, and then does not capture the snip. If I move a few hundred pixels left or
    right for my snip, it works. It will not snip the center of my screen. I've tried resetting the app, uninstalling and completely reinstalling it from the store, no fixes. Whenever I use the old Snipping Tool, it works fine.

    Any solutions?
