Windows 10: Snip minimising

Every time I do a snip with the snipping tool, the program minimises so that I have to click it again to reopen it to save the snip. How do I stop it doing this. Never happened on W10.Running W11, 22H2, build 22621.1265Any help appreciated.

Snipping Tool auto minimise the window afetr snipped

Last time snipping tool will auto pop up the window after we snipped. However, it will auto-minimise the window after we snip.

How to solve the problem?

 

Why is Snip-Image now staying minimised after snipping an image?

Snip image previously did not stay minimised when being used. About three weeks ago, following a Windows Update, the process has changed and now it stays minimised every time I use the app to snip an image.

Please note that the snip image does pop back up to display BUT only when I have selected the Snip Image setting to have Multiple Windows set to 'ON'.

However, I do not need / want to have multiple windows 'ON' and I would prefer the snip image window to simply return to an open state (i.e. not remain minimised) each time I use it for a single snip image event.

Prior to the Windows Update around mid March 2023 the snip image function on a single window process always popped back open and displayed the snipped image in the window. Now the window always remains minimised.

This means that when I wish to take a NEW snip-image I have to move the mouse back to the task bar and select the snip-image icon just to re-open the window before selecting the "NEW" button.

Please note - I am using the app via mouse control and not via keyboard shortcuts or touchpad.

Second this. This update is very frustrating. If I am snipping I DONT want the program minimised as I then have to go and click on the program in the task bar. The program should still be active after the snip. Highly unproductive and frustrating. Please update.
