Windows 10: Snip & Sketch progressively gets more and more delayed until it eventually stops opening

This is a relatively complicated issue to diagnose and so I am asking here as a last-ditch effort to try to see if anyone else has run into this problem.What is happening:I have noticed a recurring issue with Snip & Sketch's responsiveness over long periods of time and/or use. After a computer restart, the hotkey Win+Shift+S works immediately as expected. Through use of the tool - which is very frequent for me, more than a dozen times every day at least - the app will progressively take longer and longer to open over the course of about three to four days, until eventually it just stops op

Snip & Sketch missing delay feature from Snipping Tool

I use the Snipping Tool daily. I just upgraded my Windows 10 on my company's computer and when I opened the Snipping Tool I was told about Snip & Sketch. I was excited to see a new version of the tool. But, when I opened Snip & Sketch, one of the best
features, Delay, does not appear available. Will there be an update with Snip & Sketch to include Delay? When trying to share info with peers sometimes the delay is necessary to have time to click on menus, filters, etc. before snipping.

 

Sketch and Snip

As we are working as a IT support for the secure project, we need to disable the sketch and snip in windows 10 20h2 as well as in 21h2.

We have tried to add the registry keys for DisabledHotKeys as well as NoWinKeys, and we have turned off the hotkeys from the gpedit.msc.

But it is helping to disable the hotkeys only but not the sketch and snip. There are different ways to open the sketch and snip.

1) If we disabled the hotkeys, we are able to open the sketch and snip from start.

2) We are able to open the sketch and snip from the quick actions which is inside the notification bar.

3) We are able to open the sketch and snip by using the command explorer ms-screenclip:

Please suggest here to disable or remove the sketch and snip completely from the Windows 10.

I want to make a screenshot of Snip & Sketch, but when I follow the instructions below, nothing will happen.

Check out the delay timer in the Snip & Sketch application:

Open the Snip & Sketch app.

Click the downward arrow next to the New button in Snip & Sketch and make your selection.
