Windows 10: Snip & sketch won't uninstall

I removed snip & sketch by apps-> installed apps -> select and uninstall. The icon was removed from the start menu as expected. The windows store thinks it is not installed. And yet, Win-Shift-S still launches snip & sketch. I performed a search for snip & sketch and found nothing. I did not search the registery. What did I miss??I have also run:1 DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth2 SFC /scannow3 Clean boot4 PS> Get-AppxPackage to search for snip & sketch. Not found.The problem I have with snip & sketch is that it freezes my Lenovo T

How uninstall Snip & Sketch?

It can be done, but you have to use powershell to do this. The method is as below:

Step 1: Run PowerShell with admin rights. To do that, right-click on Start button on the taskbar and then click Windows PowerShell (admin) option.

Click Yes button when you get the UAC prompt.

Step 2: In the PowerShell window, type Get-AppxPackage and then press Enter key to list out all the apps installed on your PC.

Locate Snip & Sketch app entry and copy its PackageFullName.

Step 3: Execute the following command to uninstall Screen Sketch:

Get-AppxPackage PackageFullName | Remove-AppxPackage

In the above command, replace PackageFullName with the actual PackageFullName that you copied in the previous step.

How uninstall Snip & Sketch?

Part of the features of Snip & Sketch were broken in the recent Windows update (20H2). How do I uninstall Snip & Sketch so I can it from the Microsoft Store and re-install it?

 

Sketch and Snip

As we are working as a IT support for the secure project, we need to disable the sketch and snip in windows 10 20h2 as well as in 21h2.

We have tried to add the registry keys for DisabledHotKeys as well as NoWinKeys, and we have turned off the hotkeys from the gpedit.msc.

But it is helping to disable the hotkeys only but not the sketch and snip. There are different ways to open the sketch and snip.

1) If we disabled the hotkeys, we are able to open the sketch and snip from start.

2) We are able to open the sketch and snip from the quick actions which is inside the notification bar.

3) We are able to open the sketch and snip by using the command explorer ms-screenclip:

Please suggest here to disable or remove the sketch and snip completely from the Windows 10.
