Windows 10: snip tool for screenshot n print screen button doesnt work in games, what do i do?

jus today i tried to use my print screen button to take a screenshot in a fullscreen game but it didnt work. it worked perfectly well in the past but now it doesnt work at all. win + shift + s and print screen to take screenshot doesnt work in full screen, it minimizes the game n goes back to desktop screen. both print screen button and snip tool work perfectly fine in windowed application or browser. ive done basically everything to resetting snip tool, repairing it, a cmd scan, restarting my computer, etc. i dont know what happened since this problem didnt exist before today and worked fine.

Screenshot not working by using the Print Screen button

I have been using a desktop Windows 10 computer, with a Logitech K120 keyboard with a chord. But as the letters have worn off I changed it to a cordless Acer, but since then I haven't been able to use the Print Screen button to bring up the tools for the Snipping Tool & to do a screenshot using the Window key & Print Screen button. The Print Screen doesn't seem to work at all. I can use the shortcut for the Snipping Tool ie Windows + Shift + S, but I still can't take a screenshot. Would it have something to do with the fact the Print Screen button also has Insert on it as well (above)? Do I need to disable the top row of functions somehow to use the Print Screen?

 

Print screen shortcut for non full size keyboard?

I use dropbox for screenshots with the print screen button, i just got a new keyboard and it doesnt have that button, i got the logitech program so i can remap keys but print screen is not an option

The snip tool wont work since it doesnt automatically save to dropbox the way print screen does

Is there some shortcut or key combination to replicate print screen? Not snip tool

 

Snipping Tool will no longer allow me to perform a Control Print Screen command to snip a menu.

Are you trying pressing Print Screen button and then snip?

If you are trying to press print button and snip ,And if it is not working then I suggest you to check with
on screen Keyboard. Please provide us the steps you have performed so that we can assist in a better way.
