Windows 10: Snippets Manager

Anyone know of a snippets manager that does not overwrite what's in the clipboard when a snippet is pasted.

Don't say it can't be done, I have one, but its old, no longer available and its license key is based on my ethernet MAC address.

Basically I want to copy a link to an Evernote link to the clipboard, go to an editor paste some boilerplate HTML from a snippets library and then paste the link I got from from evernote within the HTML I just pasted.

I must have tried a dozen today and they all clobber what's currently in the clipboard. and/or you need a PhD in clipboard managers, and/or they have too many bells and whistles - one of them did slide shows! Preferably free, and not definitely overburdened with sophisticated or programmer oriented features.

I tried these and a few others whose names I forget, they either overwrite the clipboard, or they're overburdened with features and/or cost too much

Managed to hunt it down myself. It is a snippet taken from the game "Worms".

Job done.

Snippet Tool will snip but snip doesn't show up in a test email

I finally found Snippet Tool which was NOT in the "All Apps" list of programmes.

SO... 1) how do I "pin" Snippet to the All Apps list (& not just the start menu)

2) how can I get Snippet to send my snip as an email (either as an attachment or in the body)

 

I solved my immediate problem (snippets for a colleague) by solving the business problem using a different approach.

But in longer term I still need to find something that does what Shelltoys does for myself.
