Windows 10: Snipping tool and middle mouse button stopped working win10

Hello, after a recent windows update, Snip&Sketch shortcut win+shift+s stopped working, and the app only shows the ability to snip entire screen, not the parts anymore. At the same time, my middle mouse button wheel stopped working for opening/closing browser pages.I have tried reinstalling drivers, cleaning registers, updating everything I could, checking app permissions and running troubleshooters. But nothing helped. Anyone has an idea what to do please?Thjank you kindly

Snipping tool freezes in middle of the work

Hello,

My office work station which is Windows 10 enterprise , 64 bit , 3.6ghz board. Everything is fine except snipping tool, since we use dual display with design software multi tasking, snipping tool helps us a lot. Many times i have observed snipping tool getting
freezed and no keys , commands will help for at least 10 minutes. Confiscated design software's which is more than 35gb running will not freeze but snip tool freezes.

Any suggestions to stop this.

To resolve your concern about the issue, please follow the steps below:

• Right click on the Task Bar, and select
  Task Manager.
• Look for Snipping Tool, and click the End task button.

Snipping tool not working

I'm trying to use the Snipping Tool (Windows+Shift+S) but when it opens up to let me select which part of the screen to select, it blanks out the entire screen so that there is nothing to select. I'm not sure when this stopped working since I do not use it very often. I'm using:

• Edition Windows 11 Pro
  
• Version 21H2
  
• Installed on ‎11/‎6/‎2021
  
• OS build 22000.613
  
• Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0
  
• The Snipping Tool shows version 11.2201.12.0
  

Does anyone have any suggestions?
