  1. Snipping Tool Drop Down Menu does not appear

Recently installed Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2. The snipping tool drop down menu the ellipsis to the right of the Save and Copy icons does not do anything when I click it. I use this to print screenshots. I have tried tabbing over to it and then opening with the spacebar, but that does not work either. I have tried repairing, I have tried resetting it. I have uninstalled it, rebooted and then reinstalled it. None of these things worked.Has anyone had any success in resurrecting the drop down menu?

    :)

  2. snipping tool

    Please try this:

    Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

    Click Reset,

    Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

    Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

    Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

    • Windows Push Notifications System Service
    • Windows Push Notifications User Service

    • Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
    • Type Snipping Tool, then click it.
    • Click New.
    • Click the drop-down menu in New.
    • Select Rectangular Snip.
