Windows 10: Snipping tool error on brand new device

Hi,i just finished to set up my surface pro 8 with Win11 and the snipping tool is not working.I already tried repairing it and reinstalling it but as soon as i want to use it i get an error message "Ein Problem mit Windows verhindert das Öffnen von „Bildschirmausschnitte“. Durch das Auffrischen des PCs wird dieses Problem vielleicht behoben."It basically says there is a problem with windows and it prevents the use of snipping.Any idea? Its really frustrating since its a brand new deivcethanks

Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

• Open the snipping tool
• Click "New"
• etc.

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service
  

 

Snipping Tool Enlarging Images

Hi Heather,

Snipping Tool has various options on how you can capture images in your computer. To change it to normal snipping, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
• Type Snipping Tool, then click it.
• Click New.
• Click the drop-down menu in New.
• Select Rectangular Snip.
