    Snipping tool extends beyond window


    When I select "Window Snip" on Snipping tool it includes a little of whatever is behind on the sides and bottom.

    Is this a new issue? I'm pretty sure it didn't do it in 8 but can't quite remember and don't have any older versions installed at the moment to check.

    Snipping tool

    I have a number of long newspaper articles I want to copy from a web page. These extend over several web pages, but Snipping Tool will not 'snip' beyond a page at a time. My solution so far is to open a blank Word page>snip the web page>copy>paste into
    Word. It's tedious, and my grandfather wrote 30 of these stories! Is there any way to get the snipping tool to capture more than one page at a time? Thanks, Alan

    Try these steps to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

    • Go to Settings.
    • Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
    • Select Add an Account.
    • Enter a user name and hit Next.
    • Click on Finish.
    • Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

    Snipping tool extends beyond window

    It looks like they haven't updated the tool with the new borderless windows. Hopefully they'll fix that.

    Nice catch Adam. No, It does not happen in Windows 8 and surprisingly, it does not happen with third party software either such as Snagit, FSCapture etc...
