Windows 10: Snipping Tool Feature Request

Discus and support Snipping Tool Feature Request in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Please add Line Tool and Text Tool to the next release of Snipping Tool.     Snipping Tool Feature Request


    Please add Line Tool and Text Tool to the next release of Snipping Tool. Currently as it is now one has to use another app ie: Paint to add these. I thought with the release of Windows 11 it would have had new features like this but unfortunately it didn't.If anyone can get this request off to the development team it would be greatly appreciated.

    Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

    Why would I want to use the Snip Delay feature?


    The delay feature is one way to allow capture screen image at later time so you can display a conext/popup/file menu etc...
    However, it is possible to do a snip without using the delay feature and in fact I think it is better that you have a complete control exactly when you want to snip.

    1. Run snipping tool
    2. If the screen appears greyed out (snip mode) then press <ESC> else continue step 3
    3. Display context menu/Start menu/File Menu etc... Hold down <CTRL> and press <Print Screen> then do the snip.
