Windows 10: Snipping Tool & HDR Distortion

Discus and support Snipping Tool & HDR Distortion in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Whenever I try to snip with HDR enabled the screen distorts and becomes super bright and barely readable (example attached).     Snipping Tool & HDR Distortion


    Whenever I try to snip with HDR enabled the screen distorts and becomes super bright and barely readable (example attached). Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution? Any help would be appreciated, thx.

    Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

    In Win10 type Snip into the search box in your primary monitor toolbar. Snipping Tool will show up at the top of the list.
