  1. snipping tool not copying automatically

Hi, I ran into a weird issue with the snipping function (win+shift+s). Previously, it was working great. I can use it to snip anything from my screen, and it would be copied automatically.

But I reinstalled my system recently, and the snipping tool stopped copying. I have to open the "snip and sketch" app for the snip to be copied.

Auto copy to clipboard is enabled. What should I do to get it to copy automatically again?

  2. snipping tool

Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

That fact is that the "snip" is not always "automatically copied to the Snipping Tool window". The Snipping Tool window is no where to be found, the only way I can get a copy of the snip is to open a blank Word document and "paste" it to the blank document
    and then "print" it.

Snipping Tool Properties in Windows 10

    Hi Missy,

The easiest way to make a copy of something is to take a snapshot of your screen by using the Snipping Tool. You can use it to save and share news stories, movie reviews, or recipes. To access the Properties and set a shortcut key for the Snipping Tool, you
    can follow the steps below:

    • Press the Windows key.
    • Type Snipping Tool.
    • Right-click on the Snipping Tool
result, and click Open file location.
    • Right-click on the Snipping Tool shortcut, and click
      Properties
      .

Should you need further assistance, don't hesitate to get back to us.
