    Snipping Tool not showing Preview/Editing Window


    One of our users suddenly lost the capability to view the Preview/Editing windows when taking screenshots using Snipping tool. They can still paste the snipped window with no problem, but cannot check and edit the said screenshot before saving/sending.Steps taken to resolve the issue:1. Restart the App2. Restart the PC3. Reset App in Settings4. Uninstall the app, and reinstall from Microsoft Store.5. Run an SFC system scan and repair6. Updated Graphics Drivers.If someone can suggest anything to help with the issue, it will be greatly appreciated.

    Please try this:

    Step 1:

    Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

    Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

    Click Reset,

    Click Repair.

    Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

    Step 2:

    Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

    Step 3:

    Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

    • Windows Push Notifications System Service
    • Windows Push Notifications User Service

    Windows 10 snipping tool

    I have used windows 7 snipping tool with great success. However, with windows 10 the snipping tool comes up and is usable. The only problem is the print preview shows the entire snip it but, doesn't print completely. The right side and bottom will not print.

    Any suggestions?

    Snip & Sketch not showing preview window

    Hi,

    I have Windows 11 and installed the Snip and Sketch app from Microsoft Store (although the app still shows as Snipping Tool when I open it). When I do a snip, the image disappears. Before windows 11, it would show the snip so I can draw or edit it, but now it does not show the preview. It still capture it, but I have to paste the image somewhere else (Ex. Paint) to Edit it. I tried resetting the app in setting and uninstalling again and I still get the same message. Can someone help?
