Windows 10: "Snipping Tool not working" error message

    "Snipping Tool not working" error message


    I powered up a few minutes ago and this error message appeared:

    But it IS working - I've just proved that by posting the above snip.


    Is there a problem at my end orMicrosoft's?

    Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

    "Snipping Tool not working" error message

    SNIPPING TOOL

    Hi,

    All of a sudden I am getting the error message when trying to open up the Snipping Tool of:

    The Snipping Tool is not working on your computer right now. Restart your computer, and then try again. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

    I have rebooted. My system did do a windows update last night.

    Any suggestions?
