Windows 10: Snipping tool not working when opened with Slim Pen shorctu

I'm running Windows 11. The Snipping Tool works when I open it from the start menu, but when I open it using the shortcut button on my Slim Pen 2, it doesn't work - it launches, but after the screen darkens, the "snipping window" or whatever it's called doesn't open. The screen just returns to normal. So I can't annotate, edit, or save the snip, if indeed it was taken. I'm running build 22000.376. Thank you in advance for any help.

Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

• Open the snipping tool
• Click "New"
• etc.

CNTrL+P doesnt work? Fullscreen snipping tool, then when finished CNTRL+P?

fyi, tpucapture used to be pretty similar to the snipping tool fwiw

3. Are you aware of any recent changes made on the device prior to this issue?
   
4. Which version of Windows is installed on your device?
