Windows 10: Snipping tool on laptop

Snipping tool not working correctly. Need to uninstall and reinstall but can't find it in search.

In Win10 type Snip into the search box in your primary monitor toolbar. Snipping Tool will show up at the top of the list.

Well folks, as nothing that was suggested on this thread worked, I contacted the laptop's manufacturer and they had me try a series of steps.....none worked except the last one - setting up a new local account.

It is baffling - snipping tool is working on the local account but not on my main user account.

Any ideas? Other than using the local account - lol
