Windows 10: Snipping tool on windows 11 cannot copy and paste

How do you move the highlighted area that is available to copy from when using 2 screens? I use a separate monitor and my laptop screen. the shaded area is only on the top of desktop and top left corner of main screen. The shaded area is the only area I can copy from.

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service
  

 

Snip&Sketch copy/paste not working

Of course. The image will paste fine into other programs. There is some property that is being set that prevents it from pasting in Live Mail. If I recopy it through an intermediate program, it then pastes fine into Live Mail. I would be happy to convert
to Snip & Sketch if it weren't for this extra step in order to get a snip into an email. I want it to work just like the old Snip Tool does -- copy/paste works fine.

 

snipping tool can not copy nor cut and paste

I can copy or cut the snipping tool file but not able to paste it in a forum (not this one) for an answer to the issue I have that is on the snipping tool file. Why am I not able to paste, when I was asked to take a screen shot or use snipping tool?
