Windows 10: Snipping tool opens different tab after snipping

    Snipping tool opens different tab after snipping


    I've been finding that whenever I take a snipping of something, a different tab on my laptop will open. For instance, if I take a snipping of something on Chrome, my laptop will automatically switch tabs to OneNote sometimes to my mail app as well. I'm guessing it's a new feature where Windows tries to predict where I want to paste the snipping to but it's a little annoying when it's not the tab I want open. Is there a way to change this such that it remains on the tab I took the snipping from? Thanks!

    In Win10 type Snip into the search box in your primary monitor toolbar. Snipping Tool will show up at the top of the list.
