Windows 10: Snipping Tool Truncating on First Paste

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service

Windows 10 - my snipping tool image is truncated when i print

Ever since I got a new computer using Windows 10 (I was on 7 before), my snipping tool is working strangely

I use this tool all the time, so this is very inconvenient!

The problem of a truncated snipping tool copy paste occurs when this paste is inserted into Word document and shows up in the printed document.

There is no problem on displaying the Word document on my screen, only when I print it does it cut off the bottom & right strip from the image.

There is no problem if this Word document is saved as a PDF document and then printed. Problem began after I got a new computer which came with Windows 10.
