    Snipping tool will not open more than one at a time anymore..??


    I have been using the Snipping Tool for years now very heavily. I often take multiple snips in a row, and they would all remain open in separate snipping windows that I could go back and work with later.About a week ago I suddenly noticed that when I take new snips it is no longer opening the new snips in new, separate windows. It's now overriding the original snip, so I have to move each one individually somewhere else before I can take another snip. This completely kills my efficiency.Any info about why this is suddenly happening and/or how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated. T

    Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

    Snipping tool not working

    I'm trying to use the Snipping Tool (Windows+Shift+S) but when it opens up to let me select which part of the screen to select, it blanks out the entire screen so that there is nothing to select. I'm not sure when this stopped working since I do not use it very often. I'm using:

    • Edition Windows 11 Pro
    • Version 21H2
    • Installed on ‎11/‎6/‎2021
    • OS build 22000.613
    • Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22000.613.0
    • The Snipping Tool shows version 11.2201.12.0
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi Heather,

    Snipping Tool has various options on how you can capture images in your computer. To change it to normal snipping, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows + S to open Search Box.
    • Type Snipping Tool, then click it.
    • Click New.
    • Click the drop-down menu in New.
    • Select Rectangular Snip.
