Windows 10: Snipping tool will not print on Win 11 22H2

We are having issues after we updated to Windows 11 Pro 22H2 where the snipping tool application will no longer print. The print dialog flickers on the screen and disappears after pressing the print button. I've tried reinstalling snipping tool, repairing the print dialog, and tried sfc /scannow in command prompt but none of these resolved the issue. Could be a possible printer driver issue, because this does not happen on all PCs, but I've tried just printing to PDF and that doesn't work either.

Please try this:

Step 1:

Click Start, and type Snipping Tool.

Right-click Snipping Tool from the search results, and click App Settings

Click Reset,

Click Repair.

Note: In Windows 11, there is no Snip and Sketch. It comes pre-installed with the new Snipping Tool (which replaces the old Snipping Tool and Snip & Sketch apps)

Step 2:

Turn off Focus assist if it's enabled

Step 3:

Open Services.msc and make sure that the following services are set to "Automatic" and running:

• Windows Push Notifications System Service
  
• Windows Push Notifications User Service
  

 

Windows 11 Photos and Snipping Tool Apps not printing

I have a user who is unable to print from the Windows 11 Photos app, and the Snipping Tool. When the Print button is pressed, or when CTRL+P is used, the print dialogue box appears on the screen briefly before disappearing suddenly. I've done the following:

1. Restarted the computer
   
2. Restarted the printer
   
3. Restarted the Spooler
   
4. Reset the Photos and Snipping Tool apps
   
5. Ran the Powershell command to re-register Microsoft Store apps
   
6. Run "sfc /scannow" 3x
   
7. Reset the Microsoft Store app
   

The unit is a Dell laptop which has been in production for barely a month. Test pages print fine. Legacy desktop applications print fine. I've verified that this user's usual printer is set as default. None of the solutions I've found on the forums so far have proved effective. I'm hoping someone has a fix that's worked.
