    Snipping tool with tv monitor


    Hi,


    I use a snipping tool a lot, but my monitor on my laptop is small, so if I make the document small enough to snip, I lose resolution. I was thinking if I connected my laptop to my tv monitor, that even at 50% size, the original image would be high resolution on the tv monitor. But then if I used the snipping tool, it would still snip from my computer monitor, not the higher res tv monitor, right? Is there any way around this?

    Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

    • Open the snipping tool
    • Click "New"
    • etc.

    In Win10 type Snip into the search box in your primary monitor toolbar. Snipping Tool will show up at the top of the list.
