Windows 10: Snipping tool works only in administrator mode

    Snipping Tool works, but only will save jpg file with"0"(zero size)

    Just started. Using 64 win 10.

    I can open and delineate an area to "snip". I then go to file/save as and type in the file name.

    I can find the file, but the size is ""0" and it won't open.

    If I go to Word, I can paste the snip from the clipboard.

    I searched and find no similar problem.

    Help.

    Snipping Tool works, but only will save jpg file with"0"(zero size)

    If you open "Paint", draw for a second in a couple of colors and file --> save as --> jpeg... And save it - for example - on your desktop: does that work?

    (Not testing for a fix to the Snipping Tool, checking to see if you can save JPGs in other ways...)
