Windows 10: So basically I got signed into a different Microsoft account and I’m stuck out of my computer

Okay so I am a Minecraft player, and I signed into my old Minecraft account which is now under a new Microsoft account, im unsure how. Through doing this my main computer wound up signed into said account and now I’m locked out of it since that account isn’t mine, since the account isn’t mine I can’t prove it’s mine to get into it and thus get access to my computer and because of the recovery code system I can’t even wipe it to try and get back in, because to do that would mean I have to go through the account.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.

Cannot sign in microsoft account.

My device: Lumia 520. GDR2.
I cannot sign in my Microsoft account on my device. It didnt say any error but Microsoft account is not listed in Email and account list. When I click add button, it will show microsoft account option but after press sign in, it is still not shown in email
and account. Another problem is i cannot delete facebook account. Error code: 0x83cf1202. I have tried as suggested here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2475837/en-us#step0x83cf1202 but as my Microsoft account is not shown, I cannot do step 6.

Any suggestion?

 

I have an account that is on the progress of closing and i made an account with the same email. Now my computer is stuck on an account that is basically gone.

Are you saying when you sign into your Windows, in Settings > Accounts > Your info is still listing the old Microsoft account? And you want to switch to a different Microsoft account here?

If so, try these steps:

Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info

Click on Sign in with local user instead. follow the steps and finish the rest.

(If you don't see the "sign in with a local account instead option, click on "Stop signing into Microsoft apps automatically" first, then relaunch this page. )

Restart the computer (Do Not skip)

Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info

Click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead. follow the steps and finish the rest. Use the new account here.
