so i downloaded java jdk22 if i open the file it asks i gave yes but it is not downloading or installing the resources i also trouble shooted using fix problems that block programs from being installed or updated

File permissions for opening downloaded file

Windows Edge will not open any documents being downloaded

Word will not open Word files that are downloaded.

This happened when I changed the file permissions for Adobe,

accidentally ticking the box that asks if I always want this program to open files

How do I access the file permissions for downloaded files to un-tick the Adobe box and re-instate a choice of programs to open.

opening .dds files with gimp

Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?
