Just purchased Windows 11 laptop. Old one was 10. My Canon MX922 printer won't work now. Says error. I'm out of ideas

Driver Installations For Windows :
Steps to install the downloaded software and driver for Canon PIXMA MX922 Series:

1. Once the download is complete and you are ready to install the files, click Open Folder, and then click the downloaded file. The file name ends in exe.
2. You can accept the default location to save the file. Click Next, and then wait while the installer extracts the files to prepare for installation on your computer or laptop.
3. NOTE: If you closed the Download Complete screen, browse to the folder where you saved the exe file and then doble click ..
4. When the Install Wizard starts, follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
5. When finished restart your computer or laptop
6. Then do a test print scan test
7. If the test print and scan no problem, then we have managed to install the drivers.

Steps to uninstall the drivers from your computer or laptop :

1. Open Control Panel, then click unistall a program
2. Double click on the printer you want to unistall, and then click yes
3. When the end of the uninstall wizard, click Finish.

Canon PIXMA MX922 Driver Download

 

Driver is unavailable (Printer Canon Pixma MX922)

When I 'Add a printer' and select the printer it is added with 'Status: Driver is unavailable'.

This is a second MX922 printer which I have successfully added to 3 other Windows 10 laptops in my home. Those 3 W10 laptops see and can print to and scan from either MX922 printer. I can Air Print to both printers. On the 4th laptop which does not find
the driver I can print to and scan from the other MX922 printer. I have followed the steps in a post on 'Driver not available' The second MX922 is not visible in Device Manager. When I try to update driver for the first MX922 I am told driver is up to date.
