    It must be unfortunate that you are end up with this situation. Let me help you.



    I suggest you to perform the below method and check if it helps.

    To do so follow these steps:

    • Go to the Metro screen and type in Control Panel
    • Then clicking System and Maintenance, clicking
      Administrative Tools      , and then double-clicking Computer Management
    • In the Navigation pane, under Storage, click Disk Management.
    • Right-click the primary partition that you want to make active, and then
      click Mark Partition as Active.
    Once you have marked the partition as active please reboot the system and try to update again from Windows Store.

    Check if it helps.

    I have purchased a new laptop without Windows OS(it has a preintalled OS,Not Windows). I am a student, can i insall the Windows 10 OEM to my laptop? Is it illegal?

    If it is not legal then where can i get the Windows 10 education version?
