Windows 10: So not sure whats happening but I have two programs that will not start up. Minecraft and...

I uninstalled both of these programs, reset windows, and go back to install and they both work the first time. But when I exit and try to reopen it just loads then stops.

There wasn’t any changes to the computer except for the fact that windows 10 had updated yesterday without my consent and before that both programs worked fine.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

minecraft is not showing in control panel\program and features

Actually I don't see a question in the above, and there is (now) a reply in the other thread.

What is your question? Perhaps:
'Why isn't Minecraft listed as an installed program?'
or perhaps
'How do uninstall Minecraft?'

This begs the question: which version of Minecraft was installed?
There are various versions in the Store (UWP app)
This link mentions a Java version (no uninstall entry)
