Windows 10: so that was illegal microsoft

well Microsoft is a lil screwed here in the uk. If an unwanted program is forced upon you by a company such as Microsoft, apple, google etc this can be done by using the eula that came with your software, device etc against you. except there's a snag with that. Here in the uk if i remove said software as i do not want it on my device, the company cannot forcibly put it back on. here's Microsoft's issue. not only did i uninstall co pilot, i also deleted the files it left. Microsoft says use the registry to turn it off, I'm the only admin on my personal machine and i somehow don't have admin

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Microsoft products illegally used (cracked)

Literally all over the subcontinent, (pakistan, india, etc), all products of microsoft (i.e. windows, office) are used illegally (cracked). Why doesn't Microsoft take any step to stop this? This is so normal here in Pakistan. Literally all businesses run over cracked softwares here. Or is it allowed by microsoft to do this? (obviously not).

The problem is that even all the education systems here do this, so how would one pursue any career without indulging in piracy in these countries?

 

Illegal Computer on Network

Hi. My Windows version number is: Build 18362.476. I have someone piggybacking on my network. The computer name is Douglas. I right clicked and I cannot remove it. How do I remove this computer? Any suggestion will be helpful. Thank you.
