Windows 10: So, this is a bit complex of a question, idk what happened here.

Earlier i did something dumb and wiped my arm across my keyboard while the laptop was on, then suddenly weird things happened, like when i pressed a it opened a dropdown menu, when i pressed q it opened the start menu, and when i pressed shift it counted as tab, and i spent an hour trying to fixed it when suddenly i decided to just try wiping my arm across the keyboard again, suddenly it fixed the problem and now im baffled, did i accidentally activate a shortcut or something when i wiped my hand across the board?

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

 

Color bit depth is at 6-bit on Display properties of Windows 10 pro

Try the below suggested steps and check if the suggested options are available to change the Color bit Depth value

1. Right click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
2. Expand the Display, and then highlight the Change resolution.
3. On the right side, check if there is 8 bpc listed under
   Output color depth.
4. You may select 8 bpc and restart the device to witness the changes.

Unable to open .IDK file format on Windows 10.

You may be facing the above issue due to the un-assigned program or application to open
.IDK file format on the computer.



Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• Do you have an application or program installed to open .IDK file format on the computer?
• Do you get any error message/error code when you try to open .IDK file format?

Interface Development Kit Archive (IDK) files are
Uncommon Files primarily associated with OS/2 Saved SKF Format File (IBM). If an application or program associated to open a file format is installed and set as default, on clicking/opening the same will open the file in the
program assigned in the settings on the computer.



Right click on the .IDK file and hover the mouse pointer over at
Open with and select a program or application from the context menu and check if you are able to access the file type.



If you are not, assign a program/application to open .IDK file format by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type Default programs and select the top most search result.
• Scroll down the page and click on Choose default apps by file type from the window.
• Locate .IDK file format, click on the program and select the application you want to view the file type from
  Choose an App window.
  
• Close the window and check if the changes are effective.
