    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond So this keeps happening. Been like that since today's morning. Already restarted, updated... :) Best regards.

    No applications open after an update today

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your response.

    We appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

    I would suggest that you wait for a couple of hours more, if you are still stuck in the same screen I would suggest that you terminate the process by follow the steps below:

    • Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
    • Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

    Once the computer restarts, perform the steps mentioned in the previous post and check.

    So this keeps happening. Been like that since today's morning. Already restarted, updated...

    Kin2 continually restarts itself.

    So I've had my kin2 about a month and it was working great until this morning.

    The battery died last night and when I got in this morning I charged it. Turned it on at 70% charge and now it just keeps restarting itself over and over.

    Any suggestions?

    Is there a way to do a hard reset on the phone?
