    It was Friday and I decided to sign in to my OneDrive account. However, when I opened my laptop, all my saved files and pictures were gone. I couldn't sync everything because the storage was full. I signed out of my OneDrive account, but unfortunately, I still couldn't retrieve my lost files. Please help me. Thank you! :and yes i am a roblox playerwhats going on!!

    Desktop files gone with OneDrive

    Hey there, Matúš Bubák

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community forums.

    1. Please can you try checking your recycling bin on your computer?
    2. How long ago did this happen?
    3. Did you reinstall OneDrive back onto your computer, or was it just there?

    OneDrive automatically synced your Desktop, Documents, Pictures, Videos to the cloud. Normally, when things get removed, they should go to the recycling bin on the PC/Device if it was removed from there. If it was deleted on OneDrive.com it should have gone
    to the Recycling bin on OneDrive.

    EVERYTHING IS GONE

    EVERYTHING I HAD IS GONE.

    • The project due tomorrow for my class, that is worth 45% OF MY GRADE. IS GONE
    • All my pictures from 2010-2015 GONE.
    • All my personal files ARE GONE.
    • All of my school projects ARE GONE.

    EVERY. SINGLE. THING.

    HOW AM I EVER GOING TO GET THOSE BACK?!

    I DO NOT HAVE A BACKUP DRIVE, THOSE THINGS COST MONEY I DO NOT HAVE.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
