    So when I plug in my second monitor, the first one's colors are a lot cooler. Sort of like...


    So I have one big monitor that is also a TV, it is just connected to my PC by an hdmi cable. But when I plugged in my second monitor, then the first's colors get so much cooler, like more gray/blueish than usual. It is only on the big monitor, and only when the other is plugged in. They have the exact same settings, except the big monitor has a different scale. I tried unplugging/replugging the small monitor, turning the TV monitor off and on again, restarting, and none of it worked. What do I do??? not sure if it is windows 10 or 11, sooooo

    For us to sort out this problem with your dual monitors, we'd like to gather more information about what happened so we can address the issue appropriately. Below are a few questions we'd like to ask:

    • Does the monitor on the laptop work if you disconnect the other monitor?
    • Is the second monitor connected to the laptop using a DVI, HDMI, or DisplayPort cable?

    While waiting for your feedback, we suggest that you disconnect the second monitor from the laptop and check if its own monitor is working. If not, restart the laptop and check again.

    Update us with the result.

    Really? I get a canned answer and nothing else? I posted that I had tried everything that I could find posted online. I did read the post that Andre suggested multiple times prior to posting this request for help. None of it helped.

    My computer does not recognize that there is a second monitor is plugged in. The small step of changing the settings so I can put stuff on the second monitor ISN'T the issue. I am not that dumb. in the device manager there is only the single monitor listed
    at one point there was a unknown device listed but my computer did not know if it was a monitor or a printer.

    There has to be someone out there that knows how to fix this

    • Are you using second monitor as computer or TV?

    If you are using computer as second monitor then I suggest you to change the color of the screen through the buttons that are on right side of the monitor.

    If you are facing the brightness issue with both the monitors then the issue might be due to display, please do let us know with more information regarding this issue.
