So, yesterday my yoga I 9i laptop was kinda slow so i decided to use Outbyte driver updater and now my laptop’s keyboard and touchpad is not working! Someone please help!

A very bad mistake to use a third party update tool, if you still have it, uninstall it,

Niether shoud you use any "speed up my PC" utility or other reg clean up tool.

By default, win 11 update auto updates only critical win updates, and nothing else unless you have made the mistake of selecting the "Get latest updates" option, and if you have turn it off.

You obtain both Bios & Drivers updates from the PC Maker, there should be a shortcut on your system to that makers update utility, and no other source.

Then set Bios to Defaults & Pwr to balanced.

At the end of the day shutdown, do NOT leave in sleep

In your case its probably the Lenovo Vantage update utility

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

Method 1.

I suggest you to run maintenance troubleshooter and check if that helps.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting on the search bar on the Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view all and click on
  System maintenance.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the System maintenance dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  

If the issue still persist, try the below method.

Method 2.

If a computer is infected by a virus, lots of resources will be taken up to greatly slow down computer performance. I suggest you to run virus scan (Microsoft Safety Scanner) and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

For the issue with Video, try the below method.

Method 3.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display adapter driver and check. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic display adapter driver.
  

If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display adapter driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
device and click on update.

Method 4.

Go to the below link, select Windows 10, download the Intel Graphic driver and install the same.

Windows 10 update made my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is very slow.

I just upgraded a Yoga 2 Pro with the same configuration. The first thing I noticed is that the tablet mode runs very very slow and buggy. The pc mode runs very well. Did you try to update drivers with latest released by Lenovo for Windows 10?

I know that there's an issue with Intel DPTF Some people suggest to disable it in BIOS. Tonight I'm gonna try it.
