The CPU's speed slows down in tablet mode after updated to windows 10 in Yoga 2 Pro

Let’s try simple troubleshooting steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. Follow the below methods.

Method 1.

I suggest you to run maintenance troubleshooter and check if that helps.

• 
  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting on the search bar on the Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on view all and click on
  System maintenance.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the System maintenance dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.
  

If the issue still persist, try the below method.

Method 2.

If a computer is infected by a virus, lots of resources will be taken up to greatly slow down computer performance. I suggest you to run virus scan (Microsoft Safety Scanner) and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

For the issue with Video, try the below method.

Method 3.

I recommend you to uninstall/reinstall the display adapter driver and check. Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for display adapter and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic display adapter driver.
  

If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the display adapter driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
device and click on update.

Method 4.

Go to the below link, select Windows 10, download the Intel Graphic driver and install the same.

Windows 10 update made my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is very slow.

I just upgraded a Yoga 2 Pro with the same configuration. The first thing I noticed is that the tablet mode runs very very slow and buggy. The pc mode runs very well. Did you try to update drivers with latest released by Lenovo for Windows 10?

I know that there's an issue with Intel DPTF Some people suggest to disable it in BIOS. Tonight I'm gonna try it.

Lenovo Reveals the Yoga 730 and Yoga 530 2-in-1 Laptops with Alexa Support

At MWC this year, Lenovo announced two new additions to their Yoga line of laptops. The Yoga 730 comes in 13-inch and 15-inch models while the Yoga 530 is only available in the 14-inch flavor. The Yoga 730 is equipped with a UHD IPS touchscreen display while the Yoga 530 is fitted with a FHD IPS touchscreen. Lenovo is also offering the optional Active Pen 2 with up to 4096 levels of sensitivity for those users who love to write, draw, or jot down notes on their laptops. The new Yoga laptops are thinner and lighter than ever too. The 15-inch Yoga 730 comes in at 1.89 kg and the 13-inch model at 1.12 kg. The 14-inch Yoga 530 weighs 1.6 kg.
