Windows 10: software apps open on taskbar but it doesnt open fully windows 11

I was just recording a video for YouTube, until I tried exiting out the game, then a glitch happen where now my Obs studio app doesn't want to fully open, it shows its open on taskbar, but I cannot see it on display screen, I can put my mouse on the software app on the taskbar and you can see the inside software app but when clicking it, it doesn't fully open. this has not only happened to this software only. but it has happened to my windows settings, and to my file explorer, to the point where I had to reset my pc fully as new in order for it to work, but I don't want to do it again, I want

Windows Media Player 11 plays but doesnt open?

Im been having a small problem with Windows Media Player 11 in windows vista, ill click on a song to play and it will play but it doesnt pop up, so ill have to go a open it for the start menu*Confused

 

Can I customize the list of suggest apps in the "Open with" menu?

You can't use it to add additional programs, only to set default programs.

Interestingly for me it shows nothing for text files:








Then if I want to add a portable app like Jarte Plus to open with context menu windows doesn't like it.





It's not present and is near impossible to add even via "look for an app on this PC"

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
