Windows 10: Software crashes or BSOD when loading games

Specifications:MSI Z690 CARBON WIFIINTEL I7-13700KNVIDIA RTX 408032GB x2 6400mhz G.Skillz RAM.EDIT: BIOS firmware is at most current version. Drivers at most current versions. No overclocking, settings are all at factory defaults other than fan profiles. Additionally, I have never been able to get any stability when loading in any XMP profiles / or tuning RAM Speeds.Yesterday while playing Remnant 2 the game crashed and gave an error indicating it failed to render textures as the GPU didn't have enough memory. I've been trying to get a screenshot of the error but the system closes the error

Hard crashes with ANY heavy load

Out of the blue, my computer has been crashing upon heavy loads. For example, playing a game. I can load into the menu fine, but when it finishes loading the game, either the game will crash or my computer will black screen and restart. Specs and what I have tried already are as follows:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
  
• RAM: 32GB Corsair DDR4-3200MHz
  
• MOBO: ASUS X470 Prime Pro
  
• GPU: ZOTAC GTX-1070
  
• PSU: Corsair CX450
  

What I have tried:

• Updated drivers for CPU, GPU and MOBO BIOS updated
  
• reinstall GPU drivers via NVIDIA software utilities
  
• unplugged and reconnected all PSU connections, reseated GPU
  

I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions you have to fix my issues are greatly appreciated.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

BSOD When playing games

• Does the BSOD occur while playing a particular game?
• Is the game downloaded from Windows Store?

I suggest you to update the Graphic Card drivers by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update.
