Windows 10: Software Question

I currently have Windows Vista Home Premium on my computer and would like to install Windows 10. Is there anything I need to do before I but Windows 10 and install it so I do not have any problems in the process?I'd also like to add while I obligated to make this post to get an answer to my question that i think it is completely ridiculous and of poor customer service that this is not a question that can be answered by a Microsoft call center or that Microsoft seems to not even have a Call center. I personally hate having to post a question that should be simply be resolved by a call and human

One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.
