Windows 10: Software to add tags & labels to Windows files and documents

I'm looking for software similar to the Windows File Explorer that can add tags & labels to files and documents on Windows 10. I see the option in Properties > Details to add tags to photos, but the option is missing for audio files and blocked for PDFs. It takes several clicks to get their with the standard Windows software, but it would be great to be able to see the tags within the file and folder list, as well as the options to mix folders with files when sorting by name or date.

DYMO Label Software v.8 Won't Start

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the DYMO Label Software v8.5.1 in compatibility mode and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right click on the setup file and select Properties.

2. Select Compatibility tab.

3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

4. Let the software install and then check the functionality.

Note: After uninstallation of the DYMO Label Software v8.5.1 try to delete the following folders from the following path.

• Remove the folder: "C: \ Program Files or Program Files (x86) \ DYMO".
• Remove the folder: "C: \ Documents and Settings \ <username> \ AppData \ Local \ Sanford, LP".
• Remove the folder: "C: \ Documents and Settings \ <username> \ AppData \ Local \ DYMO".
• Install the latest version of the DYMO Label Software in the compatibility mode.

Clear the 'cache' in file explorer for already used picture tags?


If you set some tags for your *.jpg pictures, the windows 10 file explorer shows them in the "details pane" on the right side.





This list can get very long and with some wrong or no longer used entries.
How can I clear this list / cache / suggestions?

Or how can I stop the file explorer to suggests already used Tags?

Title is used to get more information about the content, different documents will have different title.

You can add same tags for documents with different title to group them to together, which will help in searching the file with same tags. I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to add tags or title to your image.

Steps:

1. Right click on the Image or photo you want to tag.
2. Select Properties.
3. Select Detail tab.
4. Under Description section, select
   tags or title.
5. Add your tags or title and click on
   Ok.

Note: You can add more than one tag to the same image or photo.
